Saigon1515 Productions was founded by freelance television producer Rick Ernst in January 2003 in order to develop & create shows that would not normally be touched by mainstream media. His nearly 10 year career with MTV Networks includes having worked on and/or produced 100+ shows including Headbangers Ball, The State, 120 Minutes, Spring Break, concert specials, WWF/WWE specials and much more. Among some of the highlights were WCW Beachbrawl which featured a performance by the band Fear Factory while wrestlers engaged in a battle royal! 25 Loud, which featured Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Carolla and Tenacious D ripping on cheesey rock videos. Return of the Rock, hosted by Lars Ulrich. And Countdown to Wrestlemania, which afforded Rick the opportunity to meet & work with some of the WWE Superstars.

Most recently, he has begun production on his "metalhead dream" project; a documentary on the thrash metal bands and scene he grew up on in the 80's & early 90's. The documentary is titled Get Thrashed and is slated to be out in late 2004. Keep checking back for news on where & when the documentary will air.
